A Photographic Study of All Things West Virginia

Rope Swing

Rope swing along Henry Fork in Roane County, West Virginia.  Although this stream was running at a trickle, the water in the swimmin’ hole still appeared to be over your head.

  1. Beautiful! It reminds me of a small cove (I guess you’d call it) off a creek I recently “discovered” in my area that is home to hundreds of turtles.

    • Hey, you’ll have to post some photos of your secret cove. Or perhaps I need to dig back through your blog and find photos you’ve already posted!

      • Don’t bother digging through my archives for those photos… when I came across the place it just started raining with a lot of lightning approaching so I high-tailed it out of there. I’m not sure if I took any shots of the place but it’s on my photographic to-do list. You are, of course, welcome to dig through my archives for non-turtle cove related materials though!
