Photographed in the early morning hours way back in the hills of West Virginia.  A hint of autumn color is starting to show.

  1. Wow, lovely shot! The cabin looks like an old man with many stories to tell. I love the wall of foliage behind it, making the cabin seem like the last outpost before the wilderness.

    • Thanks HoaiPhai. Last outpost before the wilderness is a fairly apt description, you could probably walk a couple miles through those woods before coming across any other sign of civilization. Very remote area.

    • Thanks jennygoth! Although this building looks moderately appealing from a distance, the interior is totally shot (no windows, holes in floor, collapsing wall etc.).
