Doorway on a rustic building in downtown Montgomery, West Virginia.   Love the textures and patterns found on these old brick structures, each seems to offer something unique.

Abandoned 34

An abandoned railhouse along a defunct railroad line in Braxton County, WV.

What was interesting about this structure is that the lone doorway shown in the photograph could only be accessed from the rail grade itself.  The other three sides of the building, including one immediately adjacent to a country road, were blank brick walls.

Ronceverte Storefront

I liked the colors and textures on this old brick storefront in Ronceverte, West Virginia.

West Vir(g)inia

This building is rather cryptically named, simply, West Virginia.  And although it is indeed situated in the Mountain State, there is no other signage present to indicate what purpose it may serve.  Yet another unsolved mystery here in the fair hills of WV.

And no, I did not find the missing ‘G’ anywhere.
